Sue and her kids planted, nurtured and then sold over a hundred bunches of lillies over the Christmas and holiday season to fundraise for Methven Care Trust - what a bunch they are!! ha
Jo Suyker, our Methven Care Trust Chairperson, was invited to join Sue and her kids in their 'Secret Garden' here in Methven to be presented with a cheque to the value of $1,000.00. Sue was so proud of her children's efforts that she rewarded them with a big slice of chocolate cake for afternoon tea following the presentation - happy smiles all round.
